The radio is a medium of communication that is based pn the sending of audio signals throught radio waves , althought the term is also used for other forms of sending audio remotery as the internet radio.



In the year 1873 the Scottish physical James Clerk Maxwell formulated the "electromagnetic waves" theory, which are the basis of the radio. In 1887 the  the German physical Heinrich  Hertz  discovered the the "radio waves" and in 1894 NIkola Tesla does his first demonstrtion of a radio broadcast.
Shortly in 1895, the Italian Gillerme Marconi made the first radio system achieving  in the 1901 to send signals  to the  edge of the Atlantic.



 There are different types of radios:
Internet radio: Is the first and the simplest.
                             Is  an onlyne broadcast.
Low power radio: Opposes the imposition of a commercial menalage.
